DAY 1

Begin your Tour at Kerala

Arrive into Cochin

Our friendly Representative will be waiting for you at the Airport.

We welcome you to Cochin – the tropical paradise of India.

Check into your hotel.

Afternoon proceed on a guided boat tour in and around Cochin. This is possible because our sights are all accessible by water.

See the historic Dutch Palace – a tribute to the relationship between the two cultures during the previous centuries.

We will also see the only Jewish Synagogue in India at Mattancherry; only one direct descendant of the family that set up this shrine is now alive.

In the evening, we take you to witness one of the most colourful and exquisite performing arts in the world – Kathakali. After two hours of glorious entertainment, remember to get photographed with the Kathakali performer.

DAY 2

Proceed to Alleppey

Check into the Houseboat

In the morning proceed to Alleppey for starting a memorable Houseboat cruise.

Your houseboat is a typically huge traditional boat made of Anjili wood.
On board, enjoy the scenery and serenity around.

Glide through dreamy landscapes till nightfall. Then, the boat casts anchor right

in the middle of the romantic waterway. Wow! It is cool blue waters, a blue sky and a starry night.

It goes without saying that you overnight on the boat.

  

DAY 3

Reach Kumarakom

Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

After breakfast, say a reluctant goodbye to House boat.we reach  Kumarakom – the exotic backwater destination.

Check into the Kumarakom Backwater Resort. The rest of the day is your canvas to draw the amazing backwater experiences possible here.

We now take you to view the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary located in an island in the backwaters. Watch exotic birds, the migratory Siberian Stork among them, lead their normal lives unaware of you or your binoculars.

DAY 5

On to Periyar

Enjoy pleasure Boating 

After breakfast, we drive to Periyar, hometown of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

On arrival at Thekkady, check into the Periyar Jungle Resort. There is time for relaxation.

Later we take you to enjoy a rather unusual way of exploring a wild reserve – aboard a boat.

The picturesque Periyar Lake is a beautiful setting. Your boat ride affords views of elephant herds and bison. If you are lucky enough you can spot more exotic animals. Don't forget to take your binoculars!

DAY 6

At Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

Enjoy Day Tours

 

Today we go on trekking trails that take us closer to the majestic Nature in this area – an exciting experience.

Later, visit a cardamom-curing centre to get a feel of spice industry based here.

At last if time permits have an Elephant Safari too!

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your resort.

 

DAY 7

On to Madurai

 

After breakfast, we set out to Madurai. Madurai is over 2500 years old and is the second largest city of Tamil Nadu. Ancient seat of learning, the city is planned in the shape of a lotus.

Check into the hotel on arrival at late afternoon. Rest of the day you can take rest.

Enjoy dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

  

DAY 8

Visit Madurai Meenakshi Temple

After breakfast we set out for a day excursion to Rameswaram. In the mean time you can visit the famous Meenakshi temple, There are four entrances to this amazing temple complex set in six hectares. Marvel at the truly majestic towers, twelve of them, pointing skywards at 45 to 50    metres.Beat some of the stone pillars in the complex with any hard object and feel incredible on hearing sweet metal sounds. You now know why they are called musical pillars. By the way, the total number of pillars in the temple is a staggering one thousand.Enjoy a light and sound spectacle and back to the hotel by 8 p.m.Enjoy a fine dinner.

DAY 9

On to Kovalam

After an early breakfast we proceed to Kovalam  reach there  by late evening. Check in to the beach resort.

The rest of the day is yours to chart an unforgettable beach holiday. Feel secure because Kovalam, because of its natural location, is considered one of the safest beaches in the world.
